I began collecting cacti and succulents as a hobby, way back in 1975. Later it evolved into a nursery in 1982. A banker by profession then, I quit my job to become an entrepreneur nurseryman. My knowledge of plants is self taught and gradually improvised by trial and error, including that of micro propagation at my own small lab. By experience, I found that Palms and Adenium is best suited for our hot, hotter and hottest climes. My experience with Adeniums inspired me to domesticate and adapt its hybrids to India. We have converted our nursery into a specialist one for adeniums and for endemic palm seeds of India.

I am one of the founder member of Tamil Nadu (a province in India) Nursery man's Association and an advisor of the board. - nrsundaram
