Endemic to New Guinea.
Fairchild Botanical garden, FL.

Description

Clustering palm about 5 meters tall when mature, with a large stem to 7.7 cm in diam. breast high, leaf to 140 cm long including 29 cm of petiole, with only 15 pinnae per side. Infructescence green, immature fruit shinny and green. (Info. Dr. Scott Zona & Dr. Carl E. Lewis) Editing by edric.
