Habitat and Distribution

An understory palm from Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Grows in rainforest at
Arfak Plains, West Papua, Indonesia. Photo by Dr. John Dransfield, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew/Palmweb.
800-1400 metres elev.

Description

A small, solitary palm with long, thin, bifid leaves up to 1 m long, with whitish undersides.
