Comments and Curiosities

The rare and absolutely stunning, 'entire-leaf' form of P. ensiformis from Panama, once used to be a separate species, P. integrifolia, now it has been included in P. ensiformis, which is a species widely distributed in premontane or montane rainforest, between Costa Rica and Peru from 350 to 1800 m. While it is virtually unknown in cultivation, it would make a stunning ornamental for humid warm temperate or tropical climates. (RPS,com), edric.
