Malaya, and Sumatara.

Description

"Some of the new leaves are red...and pale green in some plants." (Chalermchart Soorangura). Editing by edric.

Culture

Prefers soil with high organic matter, and High humidity however, it has a moderate to extreme drought tolerance. Avoid strong direct sunlight.

Comments and Curiosities

There are four subspecies; Pinanga subintegra var. beccariana, Malaya, and Sumatera. Pinanga subintegra var. intermedia, Malaya, and Thailand. Pinanga subintegra var. multifida, Peninsular Malaya. Pinanga subintegra var. subintegra, Peninsular Malaya.

A rare species from rainforests on the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra. (RPS.com), edric.
