Habitat and Distribution
Paraguay. Grasslands of northwestern Paraguay, on red sandy soil.
Description
Very small palm of 40 cms. tall to the top of their leaves. Clustered subterranean stems. Glacous leaves with narrow leaflets. Lack of spines on petioles. Round and brownish fruits with rounded seeds. (Dr. Gaston Torres Vera, Argentina Palms)
Culture
Well drained, sandy soil. Frost and drought resistent.
