Brazil Northeast, Brazil Southeast. Tropical Dry Forest.
Description
Culture
Prefers a sunny, moist position. Medium growth speed, although the seeds are difficult to germinate. One of the most cold tolerant of the Attaleas. Cold Hardiness Zone: 10a
Comments and Curiosities
Uses: The leaves are used for thaching, the seeds are sometimes eaten.
