Robert Riffle states that, "it is perhaps the grandest and most beautiful trunkless species". (Norm)

This small species from the understory of rainforests in southwestern Peninsular Malaysia, and southeastern Sumatra, sports a few, long-stalked, circular leaves divided into about 20 segments. Best suited for the humid tropics. (RPS.com)
