Description

A medium sized Caryota, similar to a single trunked C. mitis, to about 12 m tall. Hapaxanthic (monocarpic) palm, single trunk, up to 90 ft. Leaves are 9-18 ft. long, with wedge-shaped, toothed leaflets, like a fish tail.

Culture

Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Prefers the tropics. Cold Hardiness Zone: 10b
