Description
A small, slim trunked fan palms of the Caribbean, it thrives on hot and bright conditions, in the tropics and sub-tropics. C. gracilis hails from Haiti and Dominican Republic, is sun and salt tolerant and resembles the better known C. miraguama. To 10 m tall with a slender trunk and completely circular, very rigid leaf-blades with silvery undersides. (RPS.com)
