"Lots of interesting things about this palm- from a corky petioles, to clustering habit and of course the wide bifid leaves. New thing I deiscovered about it is that its new leaves blush. This is just the second leaf that has opened since I got it and the first time there was no color worth noting. I sure noticed it now!" (Gene Brace). See photos below. Editing by edric.
