Common Name: Sahanofo Palm
Dypsis sahanofensis is another of the skinny, short-leaved, understory mostly solitary Madagascan palms that all seem fairly marginal in California (see Dypsis pinnatifrons for the classic of such palms). This palm differs in having slightly longer, less ovoid and more falcate leaflets. Some maturing palms are growing in California, but not many.
