Common Name: Lent Coconut Palm
Syagrus picrophylla is a fairly good choice as a narrow specimen palm for many climates in California, though it is so far quite underused. Though not quite as geometrically symmetrical as Syagrus sancta and the leafs less bushy, it is a neat, plumose palm with leaflets that barely droop at all, accentuating the plumose look of the leaves.
