Habitat and Distribution

Venezuela and Brazil

Description

A gracefully clustering palm with many trunks and a dense crown of many slighty pinnate leaves.

Culture

Tropical to sub-tropical in nature, but like most syagrus can tolerate some "discomfort" in winter as witnessed by a specimen growing in So. California.

Comments and Curiosities

Uncommon in cultivation, but certainly deserves more attention based on the photos on this page.
