Habitat and Distribution

Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia, Johor, Ulu Endau, Sungai Marong. Tropical Moist Forest.

Description

Small palm 1½m tall, leaves about 15 in crown, petioles increasing in length with age. Leaflets narrow, apical one with stalk inflorescence erect among leaves, spadix unbranched, fat and green. Fruits stalked, green (unripe), globose flat forest by river. (jstor.org) Editing by edric.
