Description

An understory palm which has large, paddle shaped, notched leaves which are either undivided, or divided into a few wide leaflets.

A dwarf understory palm native to the forests of Borneo. The dull green leaves are usually divided into wide rectangular segments. This species is distinguished by the long unbranched inflorescence. (Borneo Palm Seeds.com) Editing by edric.

Culture

Cultivation recommendations: A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity, protection from wind, and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich and well-drained soil. (Borneo Palm Seeds.com)
