Comments and Curiosities

There is also a split-leaf form.

Iguanura is a genus of attractive small rainforest palms, not much known in cultivation, but sure to become more popular as they become more widely known and grown. I. elegans is one of the prettiest and rarest, having leaflets of different widths and something of the appearance of a Geonoma. Rich and moist soil and a tropical climate suit them best, and they also make charming potted plants for the humid conservatory. (RPS.com) Editing by edric.
