Habitat and Distribution
Copernicia brittonorum is endemic to western and west central Cuba.
Description
Very rare species from Cuba, where it is endangered. Has circular, stiff fan leaves that are glaucous in color, and sometimes a bit pendant at the very tips. Editing by edric.

There are two sub-species as well, Copernicia brittonorum var. acuta, and Copernicia brittonorum var. sabaloense.
