Habitat and Distribution

Clinostigma warburgii is native to the Samoan Island of 'Upolu, it inhabits
"On the islands of Upolu and Savaii. On Upolu, you can see tons on any of the 3 cross island roads. Especially up near Papapapai-tai waterfall. Also along the Le mafa Pass Rd near Fuipisia Waterfalls. On that drive you will see entire mountainside full of them. The one in the picture i posted earlier is near the village of Ti'avea." Description

Clinostigma warburgii has a smooth, straight, pale trunk, that can reach a height of 20 m (65 ft.), and supports a long, bright green crownshaft, and a spreading crown of beautifully arching leaves, with pendulous leaflets. Editing by edric.

Culture

In cultivation it does best in the humid tropics, where it is an easy, and fast growing palm. Hardiness, USDA zones 11-up.
