Habitat and Distribution
Native to the Samoan Island of 'Upolu, it inhabits rainforests to an altitude of about 600 m (2000 ft.).
Description
Clinostigma warburgii has a smooth, straight, pale trunk, that can reach a height of 20 m (65 ft.), and supports a long, bright green crownshaft, and a spreading crown of beautifully arching leaves, with pendulous leaflets. Editing by edric.
Culture
In cultivation it does best in the humid tropics, where it is an easy, and fast growing palm. Hardiness, USDA zones 11-up.
