Talk:Livistona fulva

A very colourful Livistona, the lower surfaces of the leaves are an orange-bronze colour, as shown in this photo. This has proven to be a very hardy palm throughout Queensland, surviving heat, cold, drought without so much as a brown leaf tip.

Way To Go Daryl !!!

That's terrific Daryl. Thanks for the contribution. I fixed it a little, so you can add anything else you want. I know it took a little bit of effort to get as far as you did, and I appreciate it. Wow, if only others were as sharp on a computer as you are, we could get tons of data uploaded. Thanks again. You must have a question or two, so fire away if you want. dypsisdean 00:32, 2 May 2007 (PDT)

Oh, and by the way, you can link to this site instead of Photo Bucket for the Forum pics if you want. It would save you an upload. I wouldn't want everyone to do it, but your photos are such a plus, if it would encourage you to contribute more photos, feel free. Thanks again. dypsisdean 00:46, 2 May 2007 (PDT)

Thanks

Hi Dean, The one thing I did think of was the formatting of each page, much like wikipedia. Is there a way of standardising on a page template for different kinds of pages? A prime example is this page that you have divided into various sections.

Thanks for the offer of the photo hosting.

Nice work Daryl. I'm just learning how to post stuff but it's fun isn't it? MattyB

Yep, this could be lots of fun..hehe Daryl 15:10, 2 May 2007 (PDT

  • Daryl, There is a way to do templates. I am checking it out. However, it appears most wikis with a layout as simple as these "Palm Pages" rely on the contributors to stick to and create the format. If someone has trouble, a subsequent visitor will simply fix it up. dypsisdean 12:23, 9 May 2007 (PDT)
