Habitat and Distribution

Calyptrocalyx pauciflorus is found in the rainforest, of East Sepik, Papua New Guinea.

Description

Trunk type: Subterranean, usually clustering, a very small palm. Leaf detail: Bifid v-shaped, and very large leaves, in comparison to the size of the palm, pinkish red, new emergent leaf. Editing by edric.

Culture

Requirements: Full to partial shade when young, then filtered light when mature, consistently moist soil, well drained position.
